Arkadiusz has extensive experience in designing and building sales front-ends in insurance. He also worked with central systems implementations – starting from the definition of business architecture and processes through collecting functional requirements and design solutions, ending up with implementation and testing. He keeps his hand on the pulse of new technologies, encouraging their usage in business. He believes that the most important is the pleasure of working with technology, and that is the reason why he cares about the best UX proposed solutions. He is currently working on improving the UX of a core system for one of the key insurers in the region.

Next Generation of Banking Programme Director, ING Bank Śląski

On her current position since 2014, she has been responsible for implementation of the new Internet banking system for retail customers. She simplifies processes and products through the use of the User Centre Design and Design Thinking methodologies, creating solutions from the customer’s perspective. At the beginning of her career at ING Bank Śląski was working in retail sales, where she implemented i.a. an application that improved the quality and speed of service for retail customers. As the Director of the Department of Accounts, Cards and Payments, she has implemented the first NFC card, the first NFC ATM in Poland, and Express Elixir money transfers. She launched the first electronic wallet in Poland ING V.me and conducted two NFC payment pilot projects.

Piotr Bułka has been working at Generali (formerly Zurich Group acquired by Generali) since 1999. The career path in the Group led him from specialist positions (related to programming and business analysis) to managerial roles. Previously responsible for the development of all systems, currently he manages the entire IT Systems Department in partnerships of Generali Group in Poland. In the area of his responsibilities is the development and maintenance of systems, management of their architecture as well as project and portfolio management of all projects in Generali. His department consists of over 70 highly qualified specialists, whose commitment and domain expertise made it possible for Generali to receive the IT Leader 2013 award.

Next Generation of Banking Project Manager, ING Bank Śląski

Tomasz Chmielewski had started his work at ING Bank Slaski as a developer. He trained as a computer scientist, but his passion is primarily working with people. For several years he managed the team responsible for the creation of online banking applications and mobile IT Division of ING Bank Slaski. He is currently combining business and IT in the “Next Generation of Banking” project. He is responsible for the efficient operation of several teams of developers creating new application of Internet banking for retail customers.

Tomasz Kotecki is engaged in projects for the financial sector. As a certified User Experience expert he has been supporting a number of projects related to front-end and CRM systems. Currently he specializes in sales and customer service supporting systems in life insurance, in particular bancassurance channel, utilizing his knowledge and experience in the Product Owner role for the RIFE system.

Damian Lewkowicz is an experienced IT architect – for eight years he has been creating advanced information systems in many programming languages, including C ++ (QT), Java (J2EE), C#, PL/SQL. During his career he supported customers in various sectors, including insurers. Currently he is a technical leader in a project aimed at revolutionizing the sales of insurance. Damian is also a certified Scrum Master.

Artur Olech has been for over 15 years associated with Generali Group. At the very beginning he was responsible for the preparation of a business plan and legal support work on obtaining a license for Generali insurance companies. Since 2003, he was a member of the Board of Generali PTE. Over the years, he sat on the Management Boards of Generali TU SA, Generali Life T.U. S.A and Generali Finance Sp. z. o.o. From September 2014 he became responsible for the creation of life insurance company, Pocztowe TU na Życie SA. Currently, he is the President of PTU Życie SA and Vice-President, acting Chairman of the Board, for TUW Pocztowe. He is also Chairman of the Program Council of the “Insurance Forum”. He also sits on the Supervisory Board of Ciech SA.

Senior Manager, Sollers Consulting

Grzegorz Podleśny specialises in projects for the insurance sector. He supported the launch of one of the largest pension funds in Romania, from the definition of processes and organizations to implementation of IT systems. He led the Sollers Consulting team during the project of changing a large Polish insurance company’s central system.
He also took part in several projects aimed at optimising insurance sales and service processes and defining IT support for such processes.

Dan is a Managing Partner with The Madison Henry Group. Dan leverages over 20 years of software development experience in serving organizations as a Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) with Scrum.org and an Enterprise Agile Coach with a focus on inspiring Agile Leaders and scaling Scrum. Throughout his career, Dan has engaged some of the world’s largest banks and insurance companies in their pursuit of organizational Agility. Dan holds various Scrum certifications received from Scrum.org and Scrum Alliance, some of which were earned under Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherlands, the co-creators of Scrum.

Rafał Stankiewicz graduated the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Szczecin University, as well as the AMP programme at IESE.
He has been active in the insurance market for 17 years. He started his career as an Inspector at PZU SA, where then he rose within the company to become a Board Member.
Since 2011 he is the Vice-President of the Boards of Warta TUiR and TUnŻ (both non-life and life companies) and he oversees the Operations and Claims Management Division.

Dr. David Travis (@userfocus on Twitter) holds a BSc and a PhD in Psychology and he is a Chartered Psychologist. He has worked in the fields of human factors, usability and user experience since 1989 and has published two books on usability. David helps both large firms and start ups connect with their customers and bring business ideas to market.

Michał Trochimczuk is the co-founder of Sollers Consulting, where he supervises the advisory team. He has considerable experience in leading projects for financial institutions. He was leading project such as building a greenfield pension fund, the centralization of operational processes in a large insurance company, which led to increasing the efficiency of the company’s headquarters, design and implementation of applications that support the work of the back-office and the front office of an insurer and building operational strategy for a large bank.

Krzysztof Wojsa has been building his experience in the insurance industry for eight years, being responsible for ensuring good IT support for insurance operations. In his career he has worked on the creation of an insurance startup and participated in the implementation of core systems and insurance front-ends for market-leading organizations. Krzysztof is an expert in the field of property and casualty insurance and has extensive knowledge of the INSIS system (versions 9 and 10), which he helped implement in Generali.
