The EU Data Act and the new framework for financial data access (FIDA) will have a significant impact on the Swedish insurance industry, writes Sławek Gdyk in the Swedish insurance journal Sak&Liv. Insurers and brokers will be obliged to provide data dashboards through open APIs. IoT users including car owners will get control of their data. Data intermediaries will be able to facilitate the use of data across different sectors and industries.
