Enabling data-driven decisions through Data Governance
Feb 05, 2026 Data , Case study , Data Management

Sollers partnered with the largest insurer in Central and Eastern Europe, to design and introduce Data Governance across multiple Baltic entities. The initiative laid the foundation for consistent, trusted data usage and supported the client’s wider data transformation and Data Warehouse migration plans.

Delivered in just eight weeks, the project covered 4 Client’s entities operating across 3 countries.

Challenge: Governance for DWH migration

The client needed to establish effective Data Governance across multiple entities with different organisational structures, data architectures, and ongoing initiatives. At the same time, governance had to be practical, adoptable, and directly support upcoming Data Warehouse migration efforts.

Key challenges included:

  • A compressed eight-week delivery timeline
  • 4 legal entities across 3 countries
  • Aligning governance with existing and planned data initiatives
