Trojmiasto, August 1st 2020: Sollers Consulting opens a new office in the Tricity of Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot. Kickstarting their operations with 90 people, the Tricity office will be supporting their client’s digital transformation.
To start off, the Tricity office will employ about 90 specialists. Sollers Consulting will employ people of all levels of experience, from graduates to experienced professionals with English, German, French and other foreign language skills, and an interest in working with clients from the financial sector.
“We have chosen to set up in Tricity somewhat naturally: There is a multitude of great talents – both experienced and graduates of the local universities. In addition, Tricity has a great connectivity. The Lech Walesa Airport connects to many countries where Sollers Consulting supports insurers and banks,” comments Marcin Pluta, co-founder and managing partner of Sollers Consulting.
The office in Tricity is the fourth office of Sollers Consulting in Poland. Since its foundation twenty years ago Sollers Consulting has opened offices in Lublin and Poznań. Currently, the business and IT consultancy is employing 600 consultants, specializing in transformation support to insurers and banks.
“With some of the best global brands calling the Tricity home, it is fast developing as a finance hub offering a variety of services in the banking, insurance and financial security. Hence, I believe that Sollers Consulting will fit right in with their experience in digitalization and transformation management. I look forward to their growth and will continue to support them via our investment promotion vehicle, Invest in Pomerania,” says Mieczysław Struk, Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
Sollers Consulting’s move to the Tricity was facilitated by Savills advisory services. “The Office market in Tricity is developing very rapidly, with 838,500 sq m of office stock in Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot at the end of 2019. Finding the right location for Sollers was a challenge due to low vacancy rate that stood at 4.9%. In view of limited space available in existing buildings, we began talks with one of the leading developers on the Tricity’s market, Torus,” says Piotr Skuza, Regional Manager of the Office Agency Savills.
Sollers Consulting will be in the newly minted Officyna building in Gdańsk, where the tenant leases approx. 1,100 sq m of office space. “I strongly believe Officyna’s location and floor plan will provide great conditions for Soller’s activities and further expansion. This office accurately reflects on the company’s values and needs “– says Marcin Piątkowski, leasing director at Torus.
