A leading London Market insurer partnered with Sollers to reimplement its BI data movement as part of a strategic migration to Guidewire Cloud. The goal was to modernise data integration, improve scalability and governance, and enable cloud-native reporting without disrupting ongoing operations.

With direct database access no longer available in Guidewire Cloud, the existing ETL processes had to be rethought from the ground up. Sollers designed and delivered a cloud-aligned ELT architecture, using Snowflake as the central analytics platform and Cloud Data Access (CDA) as the primary data extraction mechanism.

Cloud Data Access (CDA) was implemented as the primary extraction method, ensuring a supported and reliable data feed from Guidewire Cloud.

Modern ELT architecture on Snowflake

The legacy ETL model was replaced with a scalable ELT framework, moving transformation logic into Snowflake to improve performance, maintainability, and operational efficiency.
