About the role. You will:
• Identify and support new sales opportunities; build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers through various lead generation strategies.
• Responsibility for the execution of bidding and sales activities (proposals).
• Actively participate in consulting and implementation projects as an expert and advisor to clients on both business and IT topics. Supporting insurance customers in their search for the optimal IT solutions.
• Continuous expansion of industry knowledge of the latest trends and developments through networking, conferences and specialised training.
• Supporting the development of product and market launch strategies.
• Achieving and exceeding sales targets to drive the company’s sales growth.
About the requirements. You need:
• Deep understanding of the insurance industry; at least 8 years of experience in insurance companies, insurance-related consulting or software companies.
• Good IT knowledge, including technology challenges and potential solutions in the insurance industry; experience with IT implementation projects.
• Ability to translate business problems into IT designs and develop appropriate solutions.
• Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in a consulting or services environment or for a software company.
• Network of contacts in the insurance market and strong ability to generate leads.
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to convert leads into sales.
• Strong communication, analytical and presentation skills to effectively communicate complex ideas and solutions to clients.
• Self-motivation and competitive mindset.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Resilience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-orientated environment.
• Fluency in German and English (business fluent).
