Warsaw 11th October 2018: Sollers  Consulting welcomed close to 200 representatives of the financial sector in the Amber Room Restaurant in the Sobański Palace. The occasion was the 9th edition of Winetastingwith Sollers Consulting and the purpose of the annual meeting was to give an update about the company and express gratitude to customers, without whom Sollers Consulting couldn’t boast such dynamic expansion and success.

“This year we are celebrating 18 years of our operations and recently we’ve become a company of over 500 Sollers, hailing from more than a dozen nationalities”, says Michał Trochimczuk, Managing Partner at Sollers Consulting.

The firm provides consulting and implementation services on 6 continents, setting up new entities to support projects as it enters subsequent markets. This year Sollers opened an office in Tokyo, where it’s currently recruiting personnel, and in Copenhagen. The company is considering further locations for its business, including Great Britain and Brazil, as well as expanding its existing office in Cologne.

The Partners assure, that despite dynamic growth abroad for over a decade, they are still focused on the company’s strategic markets, namely Poland, German-speaking countries and Great Britain.

Changes within the financial sector mean that such firms as Sollers Consulting must keep changing as well. Marcin Pluta, Managing Partner at Sollers Consulting points out that the company has to keep up with the trends in digitalisation and transform. This entails being closely involved in moving the financial sector into the cloud – Sollers uses Amazon Cloud Services in its projects and is analysing the use of Software as a Service model. Apart from that it closely follows trends in Big Data and AI, which will impact the digitalisation processes and the changing consumer preferences in the financial sector.

Grzegorz Podleśny, Partner at Sollers Consulting,  emphasises the foundations on which Sollers  Consulting built its know-how and position. “Our expertise, gathered on the Polish market, with its openness to change and lower legacy burden as well as highly competent Polish experts, is appreciated around the world.

Sollers  Consulting is also successfully implementing projects, based on its own original products. One of those is a rating engine, Jetriff, optimising the efficiency of calculations, so that the insurer can quickly present an offer to a client. The other is RIFE, the platform at the heart of a digital ecosystem of financial companies, which makes it possible to reach the right clients through the right channel with  a personalised product offer.  This year Sollers completed its second implementation of the tool, which was also the first one in a bank.

Marcin Pluta stresses that “Nowadays consumers expect tailor-made approach, both as regards the offer and sales channels. RIFE rises up to that challenge.”

In line with the event’s formula, the highlight of the evening at the ninth edition of Winetasting with Sollers Consulting was wine, this time from a South-African Simonsig winery.  Invited guests had an opportunity to meet one of the owners, Johan Malan and later enrich their knowledge about wines by attending dedicated tasting sessions.
