Tips & Tricks

Mirek, IT Specialist

It’s always good to have a resume complete in terms of foreign languages proficiency, acquired skills and commercial experience. Truth is always the most important aspect, so be honest.

You are applying for a Junior position and have no experience? Don’t worry – just add your projects’ portfolio (eg. on github) and show us what you’ve been doing so far.

We’re looking for people open to learning new technologies, getting familiar with the financial sector, particularly insurance.

Pavlo, Developer

My top 3 tips for an interview at Sollers are:

Don’t be afraid to ask questions and admit you don’t know the answer to a given question – it doesn’t mean you know nothing, it just saves a time for all of us

IT knowledge at least on solid basic level is also a must. This includes data structures, design paradigms and patterns, architecture design and coding principles to name a few

Lack or little commercial experience? Be prepared to solve some algorithm tasks
