Markets and Media
Our team coordinates and oversees processes, events, and conference management across the Japan sales organization, ensuring consistent execution and thorough documentation. We handle tasks such as budgeting, gadget inventory, and client communications, while also supporting the operational needs of the GEO stream. The team facilitates regular meetings within sales, marketing, and media streams, fostering collaboration and addressing interdependencies. Additionally, we conduct sprint planning for the sales stream, focusing on backlog management, goal setting, and project priorities.
About the role. You will:
• Manage and oversee the sales opportunity lifecycle, ensuring efficient handling from identification to closure.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including:
- Business consultants managing client accounts.
- The global brand team to align sales efforts with branding strategies.
- Inside sales teams to support lead generation and pipeline development.
- Operations teams to ensure seamless execution of processes.
• Develop strategies to optimize sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and proposing tailored solutions.
• Leverage data and insights to inform decision-making and improve sales workflows.
About the requirements. You need:
• At least 2-3 years of experience in B2B business development/sales positions (preferable roles in IT consulting/delivery services related to financial sector).
• Proficiency in the Japanese language at a native-level standard and in English (over TOEIC 900).
• Preferable Bachelor/Master degree with business specialisation.
• To pay attention to details, process-oriented thinking, analytical mindset & excellent communication & team work skills with proven experience in working in an international environment (using Agile methodology).
• Nice to have: willingness to travel occasionally is a plus.
